Golly, you tried to go for the most expensive one as well? Ah, daydreams… But you don’t need some of the options. Honestly.
Now try it with an Alienware, and see which is more expensive ;).
Hah, I tried doing that too. :)
I have a Dual 1.8 GHz, 768 MB RAM, 80 GB HD, GeForce FX 5200, 8× SuperDrive (DVD-R/CD-RW), Mac OS X 10.3. That’s exactly €2,245.
Bah. Only the people who own the companies can afford the systems of their dreams. Irony is, they get them free…
Should’ve gone Alienware. Better parts and better OS. :P
What do you want? Boot into OS X before you switch on the power button??
Rob: Indeed, I don’t need all this luxury. I mean, what the heck should I need two Apple Cinema HD displays for?
Denis: You’re a lucky man.
Jonathan, Luke: Alienware eh? Let’s start off with an Aurora™ ALX PC (which is only $5,069). As you will see, I kept the amount of extra games and gadgets down to a minimum.
Hmmm… That turned out to be more than just “a system”…
Is it weird that I’d rather have that Mac than this PC?
No. Not at all. And dude, you do need two Cinema Screens. What the fuck is up with you man? I was talking about Keynote.
I guess one big-ass screen will do for me :) Even for using Keynote. However… If I could pay for all those other things, a screen more or less won’t make that much of a difference in my wallet, right?
Except for the dual 30” displays, I think our office has something like that… and I just wish that after a few years, I can buy it from them at a cheap price.
If we all put money in together, we could all get 1 to share. I get it for the first 3 minutes, everyone else can go after me. :)
Colin, you frikken mad? We’d have to travel longer than we could use it!
Man… good to see that there are more “want-to-be-Mac-owners-because-Apple-totally-rules” among us… Why is saving money for a Powerbook taking so freaking much time!? I do not have enough patience for that!!!
Daydreaming and configuring has become an obsession… Well almost…
Chrz y’all!
*sigh* If I had a reason to get a new computer, I’d blow it all on a Powerbook. Oh, and if I had a job… hm… and a way to get that Powerbook to me…
But yeah… Saving is taking too long… Even if it’s only been a month!
You really went all out on that Alienware. That’s crazy. And add a iPod Photo to that Apple set up.
It is never a good idea to get extra RAM (even if you are considering to do so…) from Apple directly. Because their prices for extras are pretty much higher than others.
