3000th SMS

Wow! According to the SMS counter in my phone, I just sent my 3,000th SMS message! With this phone, of course; if I’d count those sent with my previous (and first) phone in, the number would be like twice as big.
Keeping in mind that my parents usually take my phone away for about 5 months a year (because of what they call “bad” school results), that’s a whole lotta SMS, innit?

3 000 / (365.25 * (7 / 12)) = 14.0803755

14 SMS messages every day I have my phone in my hands!

14 SMS’s a day? I have to pay for my phone costs myself so I have to control myself a bit. Usually, in the beginning of the month, I don’t care at all. But like half way, I notice I should calm down. And the last week of the month I try not to touch my mobile phone (impossible). So I end up with high bills usually. I also have the bad habit to call people up when they don’t respond to a sms fast enough which is usually during day times when prices are higher.

I found the easiest way to save money with a cell is to not have one…plus it keeps people from being able to find you.

I imagine I’ll have to finally break down and buy one later in life like when I have kids or my job requires one…until then don’t call. E-mail.

6 or 7 a month?! Wish I could control myself to only send 7 a month (I tend to send more than 7 a day though… :-s)!

I have to pay my own bill by the way… But I’m on Pay&Go, that helps; I can’t spend what I don’t have!
