I’m Mathias Bynens, and I was born on the 24th of May, 1988. So, as a wicked 20-year-old dude, I live with my parents in Dendermonde (Belgium).

I love music, photography (even though I suck at it), web design, and French fries with carbonade. Not only do I enjoy listening to music, I also attempt making it myself by playing the two coolest instruments this world has ever known: violin and guitar. Even though I haven’t got any photography skills whatsoever, I can enjoy watching nice photos very much. And web design has been fascinating me since I was nine years old.

I have a dream… To get paid for designing web sites. Or for making music, or taking photographs, or—why not—all three of ‘em. Doing something you like to do and getting paid for it. That’d rock, wouldn’t it?

I used to go by the nickname of MaThIbUs, hence this domain name. As for this site’s title, Math Jazz is in fact an exaggerated American pronunciation of my name, split in halves.
